without a do, these are the benefits that I (batch PESP 16) have received:

1. Fully sponsored tuition fee and accommodation fee.

Obviously right? But this is the major factor for you guys to apply for a scholarship. This is a big deal as I am studying at Universiti Teknologi Petronas that have nonsense amount of tuition free which consist of more or less of RM100k which exclude accommodation. Petronas also will sponsor your accommodation fee if you guys stay within campus (in UTP).

2. Monthly allowance

I know this is commonly what people are looking up for right? Scholars are provided allowance which allocates RM 600/month daily allowance with RM1000/year for apparatus and books allowance. So basicly you will get RM8200/year. Good stuff isn't it?

3. Pre-employment programs

This is one thing that Petronas are looking up to as an employer. Petronas will provide you at least one program per year (What I have heard) but every program is really worth it.

4. Priority when applying for Internships

Petronas or its subsidary tends to choose Petronas scholars as their choice of intern trainee. This might be because of the bond contract between scholars to Petronas. Petronas is also a good choice for your 7-months internship as you can see their work culture and gives allowance as well.
